NCRT was founded by six firemen from the San Francisco Fire Department. Our staff has instructed hundreds of San Francisco Firefighters in Rescue Systems 1 and 2, Confined Space Rescue and Trench Rescue since 2002. Along with our teaching and field experience, we have been involved in specialized training at locations like the NASA/Ames Research Center at Moffett Field, the Center for National Preparedness in West Virginia and Disaster City at Texas A&M.
NCRT instructors also have extensive experience teaching for local departments, community colleges and private industry. These include Redding FD, CalFire, Alameda City FD, Oakland FD, Rancho Adobe FD, Sacramento River Fire Protection Fire District, Northshore Fire Protection Fire District, Amgen Pharmaceuticals, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Genentech, Industrial Emergency Council, East Bay Municipal Utilities District, FDIC West, City College of San Francisco, Santa Rosa Junior College, and the United States Marine Corp.
We have provided instruction for Fire Fighter I & II, Confined Space Awareness and Technician, Low Angle Rope Rescue, Rescue Systems 1 and 2, Trench Rescue and others. NCRT’s training staff is capable of travelling to any CA location or State Certified Site to provide LARRO or Rescue Systems training as needed. We have experience with State Fire Training - Site Certification and course development. All NCRT instructors are certified through State Fire Training and look forward to working with you, your department or agency.
